[Hello, Route, have an excited pony! She's a little messy and has a twig or two stuck in her curls, but that doesn't seem to have any effect on her smile.]

Look! I made it to the next city! Boink was super-de-duper helpful, and we made a new friend!

[The girl sets the 'gear down on a counter, showing any viewers the surely familiar setting of the inside of a pokemon center. Pinkie ducks out of sight for a few seconds before returning with said friend--a sleepy-looking Rattata.]

Her name is Nibbles! Isn't she cute? She tried to sneak into my sleeping bag last night. I can't blame her--this place is super cold when you don't have a whole coat of hair! Which she does. But she's tiny!

But, uhmn...

[Nibbles is placed onto her head and the 'gear is picked up once more.]

Is it normal to be able to talk with your pokemon? Nibbles doesn't, but Boink has been talking to me lots and lots! I'm not complaining, since he's really really helpful. I just want to know if Nibbles is mad at me for taking her with me. That's all!

At the suggestion, Pinkie gasps loudly and covers her mouth.]

No! That's not what I want at all.

What do you think I should do, then...?

[illusioning]

[He tilts his head to read her expression, before he smiles, playing innocent.]

Well, you could try talking to her more, or ask your other Pokemon. You said you were talking to that one, weren't you?

[Pinkie brightens up a bit at the suggestions.]

Ooh! I can do that. And yes, Boink and I talk all the time.

[She pauses a moment.]

Maybe...I should let them sleep, though. I know plenty of ponies that get really super duper cranky if they don't catch their Z's, and then they're less likely to talk back when you try to have a chat with them!

[illusioning]

[Hopefully she won't realise he's just trying to make her look a little like a crazy person-

so he just shrugs when she says that, it probably is what he exhausted looking Pokemon wants.]

Try that first then talk to her then.

[Oh, please. Pinkie is oblivious. And almost always looks like a crazy person.

In response, she gives Niou a salute.]

Okie dokie lokie! I'll do that, then! You sure have good ideas, mister.

[illusioning]

[Damn, his plans have all come to naught. Either way he just gives a small eyeroll at that.]
