[Hello, Route, have an excited pony! She's a little messy and has a twig or two stuck in her curls, but that doesn't seem to have any effect on her smile.]

Look! I made it to the next city! Boink was super-de-duper helpful, and we made a new friend!

[The girl sets the 'gear down on a counter, showing any viewers the surely familiar setting of the inside of a pokemon center. Pinkie ducks out of sight for a few seconds before returning with said friend--a sleepy-looking Rattata.]

Her name is Nibbles! Isn't she cute? She tried to sneak into my sleeping bag last night. I can't blame her--this place is super cold when you don't have a whole coat of hair! Which she does. But she's tiny!

But, uhmn...

[Nibbles is placed onto her head and the 'gear is picked up once more.]

Is it normal to be able to talk with your pokemon? Nibbles doesn't, but Boink has been talking to me lots and lots! I'm not complaining, since he's really really helpful. I just want to know if Nibbles is mad at me for taking her with me. That's all!

[Oh, to be recognized. Glad to see he's made an impression on everypony. That said, he looks confused for a moment. He didn't think she or any of the Mane 6 had seen him in Celestia's garden before. Like it matters, handsome beast that he is.]

"Why, you of all ponies should know the answer to that, my dear! How would you like it, having to stand still for eons?" [He blinks slowly as he's saying this, as if the answer should be completely obvious.]
